Undergraduate Studies in France

Undergraduate programs in France can be found at many of the colleges and universities. Many people who attend college in the country attend for these courses. In order to attend an undergraduate program in France, you must have a high school diploma or the equivalent, as well as meet additional requirements.

The academic year in a French college runs from mid-September until the end of June the following year. Some institutions may also have enrollments throughout the year as well. There are a number of other college programs  that you can select from and earn a Bachelor’s degree in France, although those listed above are among the most popular degrees attained by international students. In order to attend an undergraduate program you need to have a French baccalaureate or equivalent, as well as have already passed the university entrance exam in your home country. If you are selecting admission into grandes ecoles, you are required to have a baccalaureate or equivalent. You are given a ranking based on the results of the entrance exams that you have taken. There are also several other things that you should do in order to be accepted into a college in the country, and get an undergraduate degree in France.
Additionally, prospective students wishing to enroll in an undergraduate program in France will need to submit an official transcript from all institutions they have attended since secondary school. All of the details of the subjects that were taken need to be included, as well as the diplomas and degrees that were received.
All international students must also submit IELTS/TOEFL scores. It is also necessary that international students have their passport readily available, as well as several passport size photographs.
